Ron spun his first record over 40 years ago at KEED-FM in Eugene, Oregon.  Over the years he has served with Armed Forces Radio/TV in Alaska and was the program/operations director of the following stations: KEED, KORE AM/FM, and KUGN AM/FM in Eugene, Oregon; KBOY AM/FM Medford Oregon; KXLY AM/FM and KGA in Spokane, Washington. Ron was the program Director at KMPS AM/FM in Seattle for eight years from 1977 to 1985.

Ron is an internationally recognized voice-over announcer. He has provided voice-overs for radio stations from Maine to Oregon and the United Kingdom. He is also the voice for newspaper podcasts in Iowa, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, Montana, Wisconsin and California.

Ron was recently voted by listeners of Cambridge, UK based UK City Radio Gold as "The Best International Presenter (Announcer) for 2007."

Ron has been designated by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) as a Radio Marketing Professional and a Certified Professional Commercial Copywriter.
